The standard Niro comes fitted with a generous amount of technology. All three versions come equipped with a sleek infotainment system that is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Allowing you to take calls, listen to your favourite music, and get directions safely on the road. To further increase convivence the base model also comes with Steering Wheel Mounted Controls, Dual Temperature Control, & a Start/Stop Button. The Niro also comes equipped with several driver assistance systems. These handy systems include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Hill-start Assist, Lane Follow Assist and much more. The top of the range '4' version boasts a variety of additional tech. Additional features include a Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist System, and a handy Head-Up Display.

Safety features

To ensure passenger and safety, the Niro is well equipped with an array of safety features. These features include a Side & Curtain Airbag, Impact Sensing Auto Door Unlocking, and a Alarm System. Designed for effortless driving on motorways, Highway Drive Assist automatically maintains the Niro’s distance to another vehicle in front as well as keeping it centered in its current lane on the highway. At the same time, it controls steering, acceleration and deceleration while you are in-lane. You'll have no nasty surprises when backing out of a parking space or driveway. The Parking Collision-Avoidance system warns you if a collision risk with pedestrians or objects is detected while reversing. If the risk increases even after the warning, it helps to automatically stop the vehicle.
