Fleet Manufacturer of the Year: Kia
Commenting on the strength of Kia’s model line-up and customer offerings in the fleet sector, Simon Harris, Editor of Fleet World, concluded: “Kia secures this title through an unmatched combination of diverse powertrains, strong residual values, and unwavering fleet support. From the tax-efficient Sportage PHEV to the multi-award-winning EV6 and EV9, Kia provides a solution for every driver. With its class-leading seven-year warranty and proactive approach to supply, it remains the most reliable partner for the modern fleet manager.”
Best EV Small SUV: Kia EV3
Harris said: “The EV3 set new benchmarks when it was launched at the end of 2024, and in 2026 there is still no other small SUV that can offer the same balance of comfort, value, performance and range. Kia also has a mature fleet support infrastructure and its pioneering seven-year warranty.”
Best EV Medium Car: Kia EV4
Harris commented on the EV4: “Kia’s newcomer to this sector brings with it the wealth of the brand’s expertise in its other electric models, offering a highly competitive range on its entry-level model, but blowing its rivals away with the optional larger battery. The value, equipment and technology put the EV4 at the top of its class.”
Compact High Cube Van of the Year: Kia PV5 Cargo
John Kendall, Editor of Van Fleet World, commented: “New entrants have been few in recent years, but two years ago, Kia signalled its intention to enter the light CV market starting with the PV5 Cargo aimed at the Compact High Cube sector. Kia will only offer electric variants of the van, which initially comes to market in L1H1 form, with longer and taller L2H2, as well as crew van and chassis cab variants following. The judges were impressed by its overall design as well as its ride and handling, generous load space and driving range. We think Kia is on to a winner here.”
EV Van of the Year: Kia PV5 Cargo
Kendall added: “The Kia PV5 Cargo joins the market where it makes most sense, among smaller vans, where operators can see large savings in running costs for relatively short-range daily operations. It’s the right size to fit in a car charging bay if on-the-road charging is needed. As we have already said, the PV5 Cargo is an impressive new contender offering good range potential and a solidly engineered product. Our judges did not hesitate in making this award to the new Kia.”
