First, let's look at its exterior features. Here, we think that the Kia EV3 gives you a very stylish and modern exterior that stands out on the road.

For instance, this is in part due to the fact that the EV3 brings Kia’s new design philosophy to the forefront - Opposites United - with a special emphasis on Joy for Reason.

For instance, this electric SUV gives you a very bold silhouette that, in our view, is beautifully contrasted by some very nice delicate design details - which only help to improve the Kia EV3’s very high-tech appearance as a result.

For instance, we also do not say this lightly, as this SUV gives you a very spacious design, which is complemented by its distinctive tiger face grille and Star Map headlamps, to name but two.

But talking about its front features, here you have:

For instance, at the front, the EV3 gives you some very nice-looking LED headlights that give you excellent visibility, all while adding a sharp look.

Here, we also noticed that the roof design not only looks good but also helps reduce wind resistance, which again helps with the range this car gives you as well.

Rear

At the rear, the EV3 gives you some modern LED rear lights that mirror the front lights, creating a very unified and cohesive look.

We also found the bumper to be designed to be both attractive and functional - thanks to it housing the charging port discreetly.

This is then supported further thanks to its subtle diffuser here, which we thought adds to the car’s sporty stance - while the Kia logo is prominently displayed as well.

Wheels

For your wheels, the EV3 comes with some very stylish alloy wheels that complement its overall design.

For instance, these come available in 3 various sizes, which not only improves the car’s appearance but also helps you to improve its handling and performance at the same time as well.

For its Heads-up display, you get a very large 12-inch instrument cluster, which is a high-definition Head-Up Display that shows you all your key driving information on the same theme shown on the cluster and navigation system - but in your eyeliner projected directly onto your windscreen, meaning you can keep your eyes on the road for longer, without worrying you have missed something important and need to take your eyes off the road to find out.

Boot Space

When it comes to its big boot space, the Kia EV3 doesn't disappoint, though, either, as it offers you up to 430 litres of space here.

This gives you more than enough storage area for your luggage, groceries, or sports equipment - making it a practical choice for everyday use and weekend trips alike.

The boot is also easy to access and can be expanded further by folding down the rear seats, providing you with even more space when you need it as well.

For your space, the EV3 features a very comfortable and spacious interior, including a sliding console table that adapts to your needs, a single-row relaxation seat, and interior V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) capabilities as well.

Moving on to its engines, here you can take full advantage of the E-GMP platform, which gives you an impressive range of 311 miles and fast charging capabilities that recharge the battery in just 31 minutes.

Additionally, here you can also get Kia’s e-life package, which includes charging, maintenance, and residual value coverage as well.

Exterior V2L Connector

The exterior V2L connector allows various electronic devices to be used outside the vehicle via V2L mode as well.

You also do not need to authenticate at E-pit charging stations, as charging will also start automatically just by plugging it into the charging inlet port, with automatic payment when charging is complete.

i-Pedal 3.0

Another electric motor feature we like is the i-Pedal 3.0 brake pedal, which allows you to use regenerative braking really well. For instance, here, the accelerator pedal can be used to adjust the car’s speed or just to stop it.

This system gives you adaptive cruise control that will maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of motorways while maintaining the speed you set and keeping the car in the centre of your lane, even on curved roads as well.

For instance, it will move the vehicle to the other side of the lane if it gets too close to the vehicle driving in the next lane.

If your indicator is then activated while the steering wheel is held and the vehicle is driven above a certain speed, the car will also automatically change lanes in the direction of the activated indicator for you as well.

Airbag System

The airbag system not only gives you frontal airbags but also the side and in the middle of your front seats as well. Protecting you from all angels in the event of a crash here.

Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control

Then, when driving on motorways, it will also help you maintain a safe speed in line with the traffic you are facing.

For instance, here, the car will automatically reduce your speed in a safe speed zone and on curved roads or ramps as well, and the car returns to the set speed when you pass other vehicles as well.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist

By detecting the risk of collision with a vehicle, two-wheeler, pedestrian, or cyclist in front, the KIA EV3 can then alert you and help you brake to reduce or avoid an impact if it detects that one is likely to occur.

This is especially handy at junctions as well, as the system will detect the risks of collision that will occur with oncoming vehicles when turning left or right, or with oncoming vehicles while driving or oncoming vehicles from the left or right when passing through a junction as well, and will then assist you with braking as well if need be.

This system is also really good to have when changing lanes, as the system will detect the risk of a collision occurring with oncoming vehicles from the opposite direction as well as with vehicles in the next lane or even other cars or pedestrians on the edge of the lane in front of your and help you in changing direction when you need it as well - all in all a very all-round safety system here we thought.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist

You can also get the Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist system. This will then warn you of the risk of a collision occurring with an oncoming vehicle on either side of you when you are backing up.

If the risk of a collision then remains high after the warning, your car will automatically intervene with braking assistance for you to help prevent an accident from occurring as a result.

Steering Wheel Grip Detection

The Ev3 also comes with a capacitive touch sensor that can detect if your hands are placed on the steering wheel or not and determine whether you are holding the wheel - then alert you if it detects that you may be losing concentration to help keep you safe.

Remote Smart Parking Assist

Another feature that we also liked is the Remote Smart Parking Assist, which allows you to move the car forward or backwards remotely from outside - just by using your Smart Key.
