The Kia Ceed, first launched in 2007, was the first Kia model to be offered with the brand’s famous seven-year, 100,000-mile warranty, a statement of confidence still present on all brand new Kia models today in the UK. Since its inception, the Kia Ceed has offered impressive reliability and ample space perfect for a young family, with plenty of passenger and cargo space alike. In 2021 the Ceed underwent a mild facelift, further improving the third-generation model’s appeal with a fresh design emphasised by a sportier and more angular front end. When the third generation Ceed launched in 2018, Kia also removed the apostrophe from the ‘cee’d’ nameplate which had featured on all variants up until that point.
Kia launched the fourth generation of its popular family-hauler and load-lugger, the Sorento, in 2020. The Sorento has also been the recent recipient of a mid-life refresh, aligning it with Kia’s newer models such as the three-row, fully electric EV9. The fourth generation Sorento broke new ground for Kia, as the model significantly improved feel and interior quality over its predecessors and was responsible for changing perceptions of the Korean brand. The fourth-generation model struck a balance between comfort and premium feel, and real workhorse character, being offered for the first time with a choice of petrol hybrid, plug-in hybrid or diesel powertrains.
