Choosing your next Kia just got simpler. Two of Kia’s most popular petrol-powered models – the Picanto city car and the XCeed crossover – are moving to a new three-tier trim structure:

• Pure (entry-level, with all the essentials)
• GT-Line (sporty styling and upgraded features)
• GT-Line S (range-topper with premium extras)

This approach was first introduced with the Kia Sportage and will soon extend across the rest of Kia’s petrol and hybrid line-up, making the buying experience much more straightforward.

The Kia Picanto has been a favourite on UK roads since 2004 – and it’s showing no signs of slowing down. It’s currently the UK’s best-selling city car for retail customers and Kia’s second best-selling model overall in 2025.

• Engine: 1.0-litre GDi petrol (67bhp), with a choice of manual or automated manual gearbox

• Fresh look: New Yacht Blue paint option available on GT-Line and GT-Line S

The XCeed, Kia’s sporty crossover in the Ceed family, is also moving to the new structure. It’s already a strong performer, making up almost 30% of Ceed family sales in 2025 – and now it’s even better value.

• Trim levels: Pure, GT-Line, GT-Line S

• Engines:

  • 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol (113bhp) with 48V mild-hybrid tech for lower CO₂ and better fuel economy (up to 47mpg)

  • GT-Line S also available with a punchy 1.6-litre T-GDi petrol (177bhp) – 0–62mph in just 8.5 seconds

• Gearboxes: 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch (GT-Line S: 7DCT only)

• Better spec: Entry-level Pure now includes auto air con, heated mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, upgraded upholstery, and more

• Pure – from £25,165

• GT-Line – from £26,565

• GT-Line S – from £31,215 (or £33,125 with the 1.6-litre T-GDi engine)
