The EV5’s design embodies Kia’s “Opposites United” philosophy, blending rugged SUV character with futuristic simplicity. At 4,610mm long and 1,875mm wide, it offers a strong stance without sacrificing elegance.
The front features Kia’s latest ‘digital tiger face’ with Star Map LED daytime running lights and a muscular bonnet. From the side, geometric surfacing and vertical lines give it a bold, modern look, while the boxy profile and rearward D-pillar emphasise space and visibility.
At the rear, a wide tailgate and vertical LED lamps underline its solid, confident SUV identity.
Inside, the Kia EV5 interior prioritises comfort and versatility for active families. The three-zone climate control system includes an odour-reducing after-blow function, while a sliding centre console tray extends to rear passengers for added convenience.
The rear seats fold flat, connecting seamlessly to the 1,650-litre luggage area, creating a flexible space for camping, sports gear or even overnight stays.
Premium features include a panoramic widescreen display combining a 12.3-inch driver display, 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and a five-inch climate control panel — all powered by Kia’s connected car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) with a unified graphical interface. Over-the-air updates keep the system current, and the Kia Connect Store offers downloadable features and customisation options.
The EV5 also debuts Pet Mode, maintaining a comfortable cabin temperature for pets when parked — a thoughtful addition for family users.
