The all-new Kia EV4 marks the next step in Kia’s electric journey — a stylish, driver-focused hatchback that blends innovation, safety, and dynamic performance with European-tuned handling. It’s the first Kia EV built in Europe, symbolising the brand’s commitment to creating electric mobility that’s efficient, practical, and ready for real-world roads.

Built on Kia’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV4 offers an impressive range of up to 391 miles, rapid charging capability, and a choice of two distinctive bodystyles: the EV4 Hatchback and the EV4 Fastback.

Designed for Style and Performance

The EV4 embodies Kia’s bold ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, combining futuristic lines with aerodynamic precision.

  • EV4 Hatchback – Sporty and confident, with sloping rear glass, wide taillights, and Kia’s new vertical “EV Tiger Face” design.

  • EV4 Fastback – Sleek and elegant, with a long-tail silhouette and minimal rear styling for maximum aerodynamic efficiency.

Both versions are built for everyday practicality too, offering up to 435 litres of boot space in the Hatchback and 490 litres in the Fastback — perfect for families or long-distance commuters.

Power, Range & Charging

Engineered on Kia’s dedicated E-GMP platform, the EV4 delivers class-leading efficiency and smooth, responsive performance.

Two battery options:

  • 81.4kWh Long Range – up to 391 miles (WLTP), 10–80% charge in 31 minutes

  • 58.3kWh Standard Range – up to 380 miles (WLTP), 10–80% charge in 29 minutes

Both versions feature a 150kW (201bhp) front-mounted motor producing 283Nm of torque, achieving 0–62mph in 7.4–7.7 seconds and a top speed of 105mph.

Thanks to its low drag coefficient (0.27Cd for the Hatchback, 0.23Cd for the Fastback), the EV4 combines range and performance in a refined, quiet drive.

European Handling, Tuned for Confidence

Developed and tested by engineers at Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Centre in Germany, the EV4’s chassis has been tuned specifically for European roads.

Key highlights include:

  • MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear setup

  • Frequency-responsive dampers for smooth ride control

  • Hydro-G suspension bushings to reduce noise and vibration

The result is a car that feels stable and planted in corners while maintaining comfort for longer journeys — perfectly suited to winding country roads and high-speed motorways alike.

Built in Europe, for Europe

Production of the EV4 Hatchback takes place at Kia’s Žilina plant in Slovakia, the company’s first European facility dedicated to EV production. The Fastback version is built in Gwangmyeong, Korea, with both models sharing the same motor and battery systems.

This European focus ensures the EV4 meets the needs of local drivers — from handling and comfort to quality and sustainability.

“Producing the EV4 locally strengthens our position in one of the world’s most competitive EV markets,” says Marc Hedrich, President & CEO of Kia Europe.

Battery Technology Built to Last

The EV4 uses Kia’s fourth-generation battery with advanced cooling and thermal management for consistent performance. Rigorous testing included:

  • 110,000 km endurance simulation on public roads

  • 10,000 km Nürburgring test at up to 95% output with repeated fast charges

Even after extreme testing, the EV4’s battery retained 95% of its original health, demonstrating long-term durability and efficiency.

Safety Comes Standard

Safety is a core focus of the EV4’s design. Every model includes Kia’s latest Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), featuring:

  • Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (detects vehicles, pedestrians & cyclists)

  • Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist and Lane Keeping Assist

  • Highway Driving Assist and Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control

  • Remote Smart Parking Assist for effortless parking

  • Multi-load path structure around the battery and reinforced side panels for enhanced crash protection

The Kia App brings a seamless digital experience to EV4 ownership. It allows you to:

  • Check your vehicle’s status and battery remotely

  • Plan charging routes and monitor live sessions

  • Access over 1,000,000 public charge points across Europe

  • Receive over-the-air (OTA) updates for new features, including AI-powered assistance, entertainment streaming (Netflix, Disney+, YouTube), and navigation enhancements

With Digital Key 2, you can even unlock and start your EV4 using a smartphone or smartwatch — and securely share access with friends or family.

A New Benchmark for Electric Hatchbacks

With its European-tuned handling, cutting-edge safety systems, long-range performance, and connected technology, the Kia EV4 sets a new standard for next-generation electric mobility.

Built for European roads, designed for modern life, and ready for the future — the EV4 is more than a car. It’s Kia’s vision of where electric driving is headed.

Chippenham Motor Company Ltd is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd's permissions as a Principal Firm allows Chippenham Motor Company Ltd and MRG to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a carefully selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. We act on behalf of the lender for this introduction and not as your agent. We are not impartial, and we are not an independent financial advisor.

Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next most suitable offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure a suitable finance agreement for you that enables you to achieve your financial objectives. If you purchase a vehicle, in the majority of cases, we will receive a commission from your lender for introducing you to them which is either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you purchase.

Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.

All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18s or over. Guarantees may be required.
