The current Focus has been restyled through more sculpted body panels and sporty features to boost its attraction. The grille has been revised on the front, and its long shape complements the sweeping headlights.

A new 1.5-litre TDCi diesel unit comes in with a sub-100g/km CO2 figure. A strong 2.0-litre Duratorq producing 183bhp is the most powerful engine available, yet even in the estate it returns maximum economy of 67.3mpg combined.

Technology

Well-powered engines and reactive handling are enough to keep you entertained at the wheel of the Focus. 

The vehicle’s in-car technology makes things even more exciting and engaging for you and all others. On the dashboard is a 4.2-inch colour display which includes the manufacturer’s SYNC infotainment system with voice control and AppLink. The DAB digital tuner offers you access to a generous variety of radio stations. A USB port plus iPod® connectivity are also included as standard, so you can select your preferred source of entertainment. The integrated display grows to eight inches from the Zetec model and features a Bluetooth® function for hands-free telephone calls.

Safety

The Electronic Stability Control System (ESC) incorporates Traction Control and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) to maintain maximum control during challenging situations. Every version of the model includes front, side and curtain airbags alongside ISOFIX child seat mountings.
