To be eligible for the Motability Scheme, you must be in receipt of either:
· The Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance
· The War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement.
If you do not drive, you have the option of nominating up to two people to drive for you and parents or carers of children over three can also apply on their behalf.
The Contract Hire option requires you to have at least 12 months of the award length remaining. If you choose Hire Purchase, you must be in receipt of the allowance for the full length of your lease.
